manufacturing projects for leaders in the public transit industry. North American
leader in the manufacturing and assembly of custom seating, interior
and exterior fittings and trim, as well as sanitary units, the company attaches
particular importance to the comfort, finish and resistance of the products it
offers.
New York’s LIRR and MNR Trains
Khrome’s team delivered comfortable seats, in full compliance with North American standards for reliability and safety (APTA, American Public Transportation Association).
Montreal’s Exo Trains
With several solutions adapted to EXO’s personalized needs, Khrome met the objective of manufacturing and delivering custom seats. With a concern for reliability and durability in manufacturing, Khrome has met, once again, the requirements of comfort, aesthetics and finish of the seats.
New York’s NYCTA and PATH Subways
Subway seats made with solid engineering expertise and the use of several materials and processes, including fiber reinforced plastic with gel coat (FRP) and resin transfer molding (RTM).
New York’s LIRR Trains
We manufacture panels, structure, and all the items behind the panels or assembled on the surface of the panel.
LRV Trains
We manufacture every panel and validate the strength of the panels through product cycling tests in order to demonstrate the resistance capacity.
Los Angeles’ Trains
Delivery of 50 sanitary units for SCRRA cars within two years.
